Hawa Mahal is also known as the palace of winds, it is one of the important places in Jaipur, built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1798, Hawa Mahal is a five-story extension in the form of a honeycomb, it has 953 small windows, known as jharokhas, decorated latticework, the whole palace is in the shape of Crown of Hindu God, known as Lord Krishna. 

These windows have been designed in such a way that no matter what may it be any season, clod breezes will always pass the window into the palace, due to this reason Hawa mahal was a favorite destination for locals during the Summer Season.

These windows are designed in such a way that outsiders can’t know what is going on inside the mahal, but the insiders can look outside to know what’s going on. Galta has a special temple dedicated to Lord Ram, Krishna, and Hanuman.
